"I had the pleasure of working closely with Mo on KRUU-FM’s "dreamGreen", a 20-part series of one-hour shows exploring innovative renewable energy successes across the state of Iowa. This well received radio series combined research, travel, social media, onsite reporting and interviews with professionals, academics, public officials and renewable companies. Mo's contributions on the publicity and production side were extremely helpful. Her writing helped set the tone for the whole effort. Under the constant pressure of imposing deadlines, Mo was steady, timely, very organized, a team player - always a delight to work with."
"At the request of the editor of “Surface Design Journal”, an international fine art publication, Mo took on the challenge of writing an article about my work as a fiber artist/sculptor that would be a departure from the usual focus of the journal. The goal was to relate my fine art work (found in fine art galleries) to my work with design engineers enhancing pedestrian/bike bridges and overpasses. Mo met this challenge skillfully, weaving relevant information clearly and concisely into the article leaving no doubt about the connection between these seemingly unrelated aspects of what I do.
“Mo helped put the Fairfield Farm to School Greenhouse project into the news! Her attention to the details of the project and her innovative methods of putting together a broad media campaign really got the attention needed to encourage other outlets to get the story out across the whole state of Iowa. Mo is creative in her approach and diligent to get the facts out into a broad range of media outlets. The project really caught on thanks to her efforts.”

I grew up in the mountains of North Idaho. My husband, artist Tony Ellis is from Yorkshire, England.
We live in an eclectic, creativecommunity in rural Iowa. Think Berkeley, meets midwest farm community.
I'm most inspired by progressive ideas and people. From my office here in the heartland, I’ve worked with innovators in broadcast media, food safety, alternative energy, alternative medicine, the visual and performing arts.
